Student Alumni Association Programs
The Student Alumni Association (SAA) believes in helping you create a community from the very start of your UCR education. By participating in SAA programs during your time on campus, you’re setting yourself up for a lifetime of career support and connection to the university.
The many benefits of participating in SAA include career path inspiration, networking opportunities, enhancing your resume, and building a lasting community of fellow Highlanders – who will soon be fellow alumni.
Donor Appreciation Month is coming, February 2021!
If you are a UCR student, your education has been made possible, in part, by philanthropy. Whether it's through student scholarships, lab equipment or building renovations, UCR's donors have contributed to your learning experience. Join us virtually for Donor Appreciation Month to celebrate our donors and their support.
Participating students will receive a laptop sticker and face mask (while supplies last) and will be entered in an opportunity giveaway for a pair of airpods.
Career Exploration and Leadership Conferences
The Student Alumni Association, sponsored by the UCR Alumni Association (UCRAA), is proud to host a variety of career exploration and leadership conferences each year. With focuses ranging from health and medicine to business and women's leadership, these events facilitate community-building between alumni and current students, expose students to new career possibilities, and inspire attendees with stories of leadership and success.
Women’s Leadership Conference
This annual conference highlights UCR Alumni and industry experts who lead dynamic sessions surrounding women in the workplace. Attend keynotes, breakout sessions, and a networking luncheon that inspire progress and change.
Career Exploration Conferences
Career Exploration Conferences offer a unique opportunity to network with successful alumni and make connections that can jumpstart your career. In dynamic breakout sessions, UCR Alumni discuss various career possibilities within their field and insider tips for success after graduation. These programs are virtual for the foreseeable future and include inspiring keynote speakers and networking breakout students. Alumni are invited to virtually engage.
