Where is the Alumni & Visitors Center located? What are the hours of operation?
The Alumni & Visitors Center is located at 3701 Canyon Crest Dr, Riverside, CA 92521, see it on the campus map.
Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

My R’mail account was deactivated, how can this be resolved?
Email us at ucralum@ucr.edu and we will connect you with our Information Technology Services who will research the issue and determine why the account was deactivated.

How do I get a copy of my transcript?
The Office of the Registrar handles transcripts. They can be ordered online, in person or by mail. Request a transcript.

How do I get a replacement Diploma?
Email the Office of the Registrar at reghelpdesk@ucr.edu. The diploma will bear a reissue date and the signatures of the current officials. Replacement orders are replaced once a month. Please allow two to five months for processing.

How can I get involved with current students?
Our Student Alumni Association connects alumni with current students. You can sign up to be a mentor, speak at a conference, or provide career insight at one of SAA’s events or via a webinar. To learn more, contact our Assistant Director of Programming and Career Development.

I’m visiting campus, where can I park?
One-hour parking is available near the Alumni & Visitor Center in the adjacent parking lot. When parking on campus for a longer period of time, please visit one of our Information Kiosks.
Information Kiosks are located at:
University Kiosk – University Ave. and West Campus Drive, near Lot 1
Martin Luther King Kiosk – Martin Luther King Blvd. and Canyon Crest Dr., near Lot 3
Short term Pay-by-Space Parking is also available for up to 2 hours in designated locations on campus.If coming to campus for an event, check the event invitation or announcement to see if parking is hosted.

Who is eligible for UCR Alumni Association membership?
Membership is open to all graduates of UCR.

Why are membership cards digital?
Digital membership cards download to the wallet on your smartphone, so there's no need to wait for a card to arrive in the mail. Your membership card will also be updated regularly as we add benefits for your use.

What can I do with this card?
You can use the digital membership card the same way you use a physical membership card. Just pull out your phone, open your digital wallet and display the card to verify that you are an activated member of the UCR Alumni Association.

What are my benefits?
The UCR Alumni Association offers more than a dozen different alumni benefits, and more are being added all the time. From discounts on auto rentals, Dell technology, theme park discounts, UCR Bookstore discounts, to savings on insurance, we've got you covered. Download the card to see everything you can use.

How do I access a specific membership benefit?
Extension Center discounts - please contact a member of the UCR Extension team at 951-827-4105 and have a copy of your membership card accessible for proof of membership. Bookstore online discount - please contact sm8106@bncollege.com and have a copy of your card.

How long will my membership last?
Memberships are valid for two years after activation. Members will receive an email once their digital card has expired that will ask them to reactivate their membership.

Do I have to be a member to keep my UCR student email address?
UCR alumni who graduated after 2010 have access to their UCR email address for life, regardless of UCR Alumni Association membership status. For assistance, email ucralum@ucr.edu or call the Alumni Association office at 951-827-2586.

Does my membership provide online library journal access?
No, however, members can access journal databases by visiting any UC Campus Library as accessing the online database once inside the library.

I prefer a physical membership card or my cell phone does not have the capability to download the digital card, do I have to download a digital card?
For lifetime members, feel free to continue to use the membership card that was previously issued to you. If you ever need a replacement physical card, feel free to contact our alumni office at (951) 827-2586 or ucralum@ucr.edu to request one.
For annual members, we have discontinued production of physical annual cards. If you would like to join the alumni association and would not like to or are unable to download a digital card, feel free to contact the Alumni Association office at (951) 827-2586 or ucralum@ucr.edu.

Why did membership change from dues-paying to free?
The UCR Alumni Association board of directors voted to shift from a dues-paying membership organization to a more inclusive program that will increase meaningful engagement among our more than 143,000 Highlander alumni around the world. Nothing else is changing other than we are no longer charging dues and the digital card is a matter of convenience.

I am not a UCR graduate, but I used to have an alumni membership when dues based to use the campus library, How can I get access to the library?
Community members 18 and older may obtain a UCR library card at circulation desks with proof of address (e.g. driver's license). The fee is $65 for regular borrowers, $40 for senior borrowers (55 or older), and $35 for Watkins Society members. Visit the library site for more information.
