All alumni and their guests* are invited back to campus November 8 for an exclusive UCR Homecoming! Experience college and department interactive booths, mix and mingle with alumni, enjoy a day filled with an activity zone, bar service, Ferris wheel, opportunity drawings, and concert featuring Ludacris.
*Alumni are allowed to bring up to 4 guests who are non-alumni.
*Tickets go on sale August 19.

UCR Faculty/Staff who are also alumni are invited to attend a special luncheon to hear campus updates and connect with fellow alumni.

BCOE Family Day: Bear Tank Edition

JoAs part of the Marlan and Rosemary Bourns College of Engineering community, you'll get an exclusive look at the future of technology with a faculty discussion on deep fake detection and the broader educational impact of cutting-edge AI research. After the discussion, join us for a continental breakfast before you take a front-row seat to watch our talented students pitch their innovative engineering projects in a live, Shark Tank-style competition. This is your opportunity to reconnect with the college, network with fellow alumni, and see firsthand the incredible talent that defines the next generation of engineers.

New Student Lounge Open House with the School of Public Policy

Location: 4th floor of INTS, Room 4120
Visit the UCR School of Public Policy (SPP) an tour its new student lounge open to all UCR students. You can also meet Dean Mark Long and learn about the school's 10-year anniversary and our theme, "Creating a Thriving, Prosperous, and Abundant World." Lunch will be served.
UCR Black Alumni Chapter Reunion Cookout
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Reunite, reminisce, and unwind with your UC Riverside Black Alumni family during our vibrant cookout celebration! UCR Black alumni, current scholars, staff, faculty and friends are invited to reconnect, hear about chapter updated and play games. We're looking forward to getting to know more about you and your family, whether you are a new student or an alum who graduated over 50 years ago!
Admission is free for current UCR students. Proceeds from registration will go to Black Alumni Chapter Programming Fund which supports a variety of initiatives, including:
- Professional development opportunities for students
- Emergency support
- Bringing guest speakers to campus

This year’s Homecoming concert provides an opportunity for the university to recognize and thank key supporters, volunteers, and distinguished alumni.

Where is Homecoming taking place?
Homecoming 2025 will take place on campus. The University of California, Riverside address is 900 University Ave, Riverside, CA 92521. The campus map can help you find your way to Homecoming events. The main Homecoming concert event will take place on HUB Lawn, adjacent to the Bell Tower, HUB, and Watkins Hall. -

General Parking
General parking will be complimentary with vehicle registration in Lots 1,6, and 30. Lots are no more than a five-or ten-minute walk to the Bell Tower. Please do not park in reserved, service, or disabled spaces without an appropriate permit.Accessible Parking
Anyone with a placard may park in any disabled space on campus. Click here for a map of where ADA/accessible parking is available. What do I need when I check-in the day of?
The confirmation email you received after registering for the concert includes a QR code that will allow you and your guests into the concert venue. If you are unable to find your confirmation email, a reminder email prior to November 8 and a day of email will be sent to your email address that will include the QR code. Have this ready to scan for quick access into the venue.

All bags will undergo a security check upon entrance to the concert venue. Guests may bring empty refillable beverage containers to fill up with water to reduce waste from one-time use cups.Please note that the following items are prohibited: animals except for service dogs, outside alcohol, glass bottles or containers, umbrellas, coolers, tobacco products, illegal drugs/paraphernalia, and weapons of any kind, including firearms and knives. UC Riverside is a smoke- and tobacco-free environment. Tobacco, e-cigarettes, and vaping are not permitted on university property, including parking lots.

Are kids allowed to come? Do I need to register them?
Yes, kids are allowed. Please keep in mind of the featured artist and the use of profanity. You will need to register them no matter their age. Each child will count as one of your non-alumni guests.
Please note children under the age of 18 must be with an adult at all times.

Limited dining options will be available, including:- Inside the concert area, food trucks and a grab-n-go option will be available for purchase.
- A complimentary water station will be available for all guests in attendance. Guests may bring empty containers to fill up with water to minimize waste from one-time use cups.
- VIP guests will have picnic snack boxes provided for them inside the VIP concert lounge area.

In the past Homecoming was free to attend, why is there a cost associated this year?
To continue the tradition of bringing a nationally recognized artist to UCR Homecoming, we have introduced a modest ticket price to help ensure the highest quality experience for our alumni. For just $20 per person, you and your guests will gain access to the concert area, where you can enjoy the performance, receive FREE exclusive alumni swag, Ferris wheel rides, and more!
Some additional events hosted by colleges and campus groups may also have a separate cost, while many others are offered free of charge.
