Ways to Give
Your scholarship contribution enables the next generation of Highlanders to thrive in their education, regardless of their financial situation. In 1976, the UCR Alumni Association awarded six $1,000 scholarships to entering students and has since grown to award twelve $4,000 scholarships to incoming freshman and transfer students. Since the program’s inception, more than $2.7 million has been awarded to over 1250 students. Providing scholarship support to students is a proud tradition of the UCR Alumni Association. In 2013, the UCR Alumni Association Board of Directors voted to establish a $1.65 million endowment to guarantee funding for the UCR Alumni Association scholarship program in perpetuity. Currently, the fund is at 95% of its goal. Help make UCRAA even stronger by giving a gift that will last a lifetime.
One of the most profound ways to contribute is by staying connected to campus. We always welcome Alumni to give back at events like Highlander Day of Service or Advocacy Day. You can also interact with current students as a mentor, speaker or panelist through the Student Alumni Association.
