Payal Beri ’09
Payal brings extensive career coaching and counseling experience to her work with clients through her firm I-Connect. She provides career and professional development coaching including networking, career branding, interviewing, career transitions and exploration coaching.
Andrew Kumar ’11
Andrew is a career coach at General Assembly (a startup dedicated to closing the global skills gap through education). He has worked at Facebook and Google in human resources and recruitment and has extensive experience in online career branding, interview preparation, and negotiation, specific to the tech industry.
Bernice Maldonado ’02
Bernice provides talent development and professional image coaching through her practice Growing Forward. Having pursued her education as a first-generation student, Bernice is committed to ensuring young alumni get high-impact career coaching to ensure their professional success and career growth.
Chaim Shapiro ’05
Chaim brings extensive experience in the career development field, serving both students and alumni in their career development. He's previously worked at various institutions including, but not limited to, Touro College; Pace University; WITS and Hillel. Chaim has specific expertise in career branding, specifically LinkedIn.

Career Center Services
New UCR graduates automatically receive a 1-year extension on all Career Center services (except on-campus interviews). Additionally, all alumni are welcome to attend career workshops and job fairs.
