Alumni and friends gathered on Sat., Oct. 27 to celebrate the opening of UCR’s Alumni & Visitors Center. The day featured self-guided tours of the facility, a tasting menu designed by the Center’s culinary staff, and a program to thank all those whose efforts contributed to the completion of the project. The event was enhanced with specialty items produced by UCR alumni: Litty Mathew (’94), Modern Spirits Artisan Vodka; Denyse Olsen (’99), La Montañita Fine Wines; Jerry Swain (’89), Jer’s Handmade Chocolates

"This facility is the consequence of years of planning and the generous support of many individuals from the overall campus community. We are confident that the Center will provide great value to UCR and will serve as further testament to the commitment of our growing alumni population," Kyle D.
