Cassandra Hughes '98 (B.A. Psychology)
"As a second-generation UC Riverside graduate and a lifetime alumni member, I've learned a lot from this institution and made some really good friends. Along the way, I learned the value of hard work, a great education, and the importance of networking. These life lessons have served me well. Dr. Cassandra Hughes completed veterinary school at Western University of Health Sciences in 2009. She lives and practices veterinary medicine in San Diego.

Morning sessions will be from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Afternoon sessions will be from 11:40 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.

Yelizaveta (Lisa) Renfro '00 for a literary reading of her short fiction collection, A Catalog of Everything in the World, which was recently released by Black Lawrence Press and was the winner of the St. Lawrence Book Award. Yelizaveta P. Renfro was born in the former Soviet Union to a Russian mother and American father. Her short story collection, A Catalogue of Everything in the World, the 2008 St. Lawrence Book Award winner, is set in and inspired by the American Midwest.
