Call for Alumni Awards of Distinction

New Categories Announced! 

20th Annual 
Alumni Awards 
of Distinction

The UCR Alumni Association has restructured the Alumni Awards of Distinction program to include college-based alumni awards. 

Nominations are now being accepted in the following categories:

Distinguished Alumnus Award
Alumni Service Award
Outstanding Young Alumnus Award
Honored Alumni Awards
(Individual college-based awards in the College of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences, College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences and Bourns College of Engineering)

Award criteria and nomination forms are available at www.alumni.ucr.edu.

The last day to submit nominations is Wednesday, February 1

Recipients will be honored at the 20th Annual Alumni Awards of Distinction Banquet 
on Saturday, May 6 at the Riverside Convention Center.

Alumni and friends of the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences are cordially invited to CNAS third annual alumni homecoming event, which will feature beer tasting and a barbeque. 

Guests will also get a sneak preview of UCR’s newest state-of-the-art research facility – the Biological Sciences Building which is scheduled to open March 2006. This new building will support 20 faculty/student research teams and will include a technologically advanced biosafety level 3 laboratory.
